However, it is necessary to fill a skills gap to be able to face the new state of reality. A process to learn how to deal with the ongoing discontinuity and with every future one.

We need to prepare ourselves to do jobs that do not exist yet, which will use technologies and solutions not yet invented, to solve problems that we do not know are problems yet.

The purpose of HAKADEMIA is to prepare professionals and companies to face all this.
Introducing yourself to new topics for understanding and managing the unknown. Subjects such as System Leadership, Co-design, Complexity Management, Psychological Safety. At the same time, renewing with a different approach skills already recognized as critical, but never adequately addressed (social intelligence, public speaking and front of the room communication, intercultural and non-verbal communication etc.).

Our constantly expanding offering aims to cover areas and subjects, erroneously defined as soft skills by the market. Skills we prefer to name power skills that are critical for dealing with the complexity of the world today and for the future.

But nothing could be more distance from the truth. PhD from the University of Oxford, PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester, studied anthropology at the London School of Economics & Political Science and the Waseda University in Japan.

A strong academic profile, with a consultant touch. In understanding rituals, cultures, habits, spotting stereotypes and prejudices, no one can compete. Author of several books. Oh! And fluent in Japanese.

Graduated from the London Academy of Dramatic Arts, with an MBA, Edoardo is a well-known expert in public speaking. When it comes to pushing out the leader in you... well, you first need to find him and then teach him how to talk fitly. In doing this magic, Edoardo doesn't have many competitors.

If he is not of the stage to teach or act, then you can find him riding a vintage road bike at the Eroica race.

Why did we choose the name HAKADEMIA?

The Haka is a well-known Maori dance that expresses the inner feeling of the one who performs it and can hold multiple meanings. It is not just a war dance or an act of threatening, as it is often mistakenly considered. The Haka can also be a manifestation of joy or pain, a way of free expression, leaving performers the freedom of movements.

Why images of trees?
Because trees are the representation of beauty and long life. Because a tree is a living image of individual strength, in a collective and well connected environment. Because trees are synonymous of growth and solidity. Because plants have evolved perfectly in all conditions, not being able to escape from danger as animals do: a real example of constant and successful evolution.
